FYJI aims to grow to partner with an additional three middle school in establishing student-run newspapers. FYJI's curriculum is ever-changing, allowing the team to adapt to the individual needs of students at different middle schools.

Our team is contantly changing. Role and positions vary with every task, meaning FYJI hopes to grow its staff and prevalence throughout the Los Angeles Area. While FYJI began in Pasadena, CA, we hope to grow to locations like Chino Hills and Oak Park.

Activism

FYJI's overarching goal for 2025 is to ensure that the Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) and local school districts establish a student journalism/media course. Current progress has been made with PUSD.
